How to Save Money on Diapers - Compare Prices of Diapers

!±8± How to Save Money on Diapers - Compare Prices of Diapers

Diapers alone for the first year can cost 00 or more.

It is tempting to buy a small package of diapers because it seems cheaper at first.

Newborns grow very fast, however, and if you buy too many 1s or 2s you may be left with diapers you can't use. You may find that you can use the store brand diapers as they get older but I have always tried them and gone back to name brand.

On average a Jumbo pack of diapers cost .00 for about 40 diapers. This is average for Pampers, Huggies, and LUVS. You are paying approximately .26 per diaper this way. This is the average cost for 40 diapers Size 3.

For size 5 you will get about 30 diapers for .37 each for Pampers and Huggies at .00 for a Jumbo pack.

LUVS size 5 Jumbo pack of 30 diapers is .28 (each diaper) at .49 per pack.

For Extra Large Packages, LUVS are cheaper running about a box for sizes 3,4, and 5.

LUVS Extra Large Boxes run just a few cents cheaper than Pampers about .18 - .24 cents each.

Pampers Extra Large Boxes are about a box about .21 - .28 cents each.

LUVS and Pampers give you about 30-40 more diapers than Huggies Extra Large box at about .23 - .29 each.

So how can you beat these prices?

There are several ways:

Save your coupons!

If you haven't been saving your coupons you can buy them at a very low cost.

Another way to save is to comparison shop online. You can sign up to receive money back for your purchases and use discount codes at 1800diapers, etc.

Sign up at websites to receive coupons in the mail.

CVS will even let you use regular diaper coupons for pull-ups and pull-ups coupons for diapers and Goodnights, plus you can receive extra care bucks at at CVS.

Walmart usually has the best prices and they will beat competitor ads.

Computers For Free - Getting a Free Computer

!±8± Computers For Free - Getting a Free Computer

Computers for free. Sounds like a dream, like something that your child might make up. But you know what? Not only is it not a dream, it is an actual reality. There truly are companies out there that specialize in giving people free computers. They are giving away everything from new top of the line desktops to great portable laptop units. And they are giving them away to people for the total cost of zero.

Yes you have to do a little research to find them. All of about ten seconds worth of time should get you a few million choices from which to choose. And yes you have to do some things to get the computers for free. There are some qualifications and some things that you need to fulfill in order to become fully qualified and get your computer. But if you want a computer for free, what's the difference in doing a few odds and ends and spending a little time. You are ultimately getting a nice new computer and you are keeping the hard earned cash in your own pocket.

Ok, so now that we have ascertained that it is legitimate and that you can indeed end up with a free computer in your possession. What are some of the hoops that you will need to jump through to get it?

Well, each offer and each company has different things that it may want so the first thing you will want to do after narrowing your search down and finding one that you actually are interested in getting is read. You are going to want to pull up the requirements and look at what the specifics of the offer are. You need to know this because if you don't follow them correctly or don't do something that is time sensitive in the correct amount of time, you are back a square one and looking again.

For instance, one requirement is that you apply for a major credit card. A t first glance you say, no trouble there a few clicks and I can move on to the next requirement. But wait, that offer most likely will also require that you get approved for that major credit card, then you may have to make a usually small charge on the card to activate it and then comes the often overlooked part, you may have to maintain that as an active card for 60 days. Not that this is a hard requirement, but you need to know the rules. You can't play the game if you don't know what the rules are.

The other parts of the offer can be equally as cryptic. You might have to apply to a record wholesale club and make a minimum purchase of CDs or DVDs at regular club price if you want to fulfill that portion of the requirements. Again not hard to do as long as you know what the terms are and it is something that you are willing and wanting to do to get your computers for free.

How Much Do Diapers Cost?

!±8± How Much Do Diapers Cost?

When new moms start buying diapers and seeing how many they go through in such a short time, they often ask me "how many diapers am I going to need to buy? How much is this going to cost me?" After all, it does get expensive!

The answer varies, but in general you can do some simple math to calculate it: The average newborn goes through 8-10 diapers per day, let's say about 3 months. So we'll estimate that to be about 9 diapers per day, 30 days a month, 3 months for a total of 810 diapers.

As the baby gets older, let's say 3 months until 2.5 years, the kid is probably averaging 5-7 diapers per day. So doing the math, you're now talking about 6 diapers per day, 365 days per year, for 2 years for a total of 4380 more diapers!

That's a total of 5200 diapers per kid. Now let's look at the cost. If you go to the grocery store, you are probably looking at Body.30 per diaper when you buy in bulk, so that's a lifetime total of 90. That's a lot of money for something that you poop in and throw away. But don't fret, there are a few options. First, you could use cloth diapers. There are tons of resources out there for that, and if that suits you, go for it. However it's a lot of work and it's gross (in my opinion) so I choose another route. I found great diaper deals online, always name brands and with free shipping. Even shipped, I was saving over 50%, finding diapers as low as Body.14/diaper. That saves over 0 over the life of each child. So if you want to save money, check out great diaper deals online.
